Private COVID jab

The private COVID jab service at Colyton Pharmacy provides vaccination for patients over 18 years old not eligible for free NHS doses. It uses the vaccine Pfizer/BioNTech, following an in-person consultation to confirm clinical suitability.

Service Details
The appointment lasts about 10 minutes, covering medical history review and upper arm injection. It can combine with private flu vaccines.

Effects are usually mild and short-lived, including injection site pain, fatigue, headache, fever, or chills as the immune response activates.

We provide a variety of tablets and injectables, paired with practical healthy living tips. Our Pharmacist will conduct a thorough risk assessment to recommend the best option for you.
We charge £20 per consultation; however, this fee is included in the overall treatment price.

Injectables from £95, tablets from £7 (detailed pricing will be made available during the consultation)

As with all medicines, the products available as part of this service may not be suitable to some:

Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals

Those not meeting the required BMI criteria

Individuals with eating disorders

Those currently using other weight loss medications (however you can switch to us from another pharmacy)

Patients with type 1 or type 2 diabetes (medication-controlled)

Based on the available treatment options, our pharmacist may recommend alternative products or advise against participation to prioritise your safety and health.
